Spring Clean-up Tips

We are approaching the time of year when homeowners are getting ready for spring clean-up of their lawn and landscape.  Consider performing the following activities to get your home, lawn, and landscape looking its best come this spring.

Pick-up your Lawn

Winter storms and winds can leave your lawn littered with debris, like last fall's leaves, dead branches/limbs, and other organic waste material.  Get you lawn ready for new grown by cleaning it up and allow complete sun coverage.  

Fertilize your Lawn and Trees

Spring, late March and early April, is the best time to first fertilize your yard and trees.  Each are emerging from winter dormancy and will be ready to grow as soon as the first break in the cold weather.  For your trees, consider tree spikes as they are designed to be slow release and will provide nourishment for months to come.  

Prune you Trees
